    Puerto Maldonado

    Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Puerto Maldonado. Travel by road for approximately 1 hour to the community of Filadelfia, where your river journey begins. Board a motorized boat and navigate the Tambopata River. A brief stop will be made at the lodge to collect additional guests and birdwatching equipment before continuing farther upstream.

    Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick

    Arrive at the Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick, one of the region's best-known wildlife observation areas. Depending on weather conditions and wildlife activity, visitors may observe different species of parrots and macaws gathering at the clay wall. A boxed breakfast will be served during the visit.

    Continue exploring sections of the Tambopata River and nearby waterways. Your guide will interpret the surrounding rainforest while explaining its biodiversity.
