Designed for cyclists 55 and over who want the Alto de Letras on their own terms. The route is the same — the world's longest paved road climb, 3,700 m above sea level, the landmark of Colombian cycling. What changes is how the day is structured around you.
Pace decisions are made each morning based on how the group feels. E-bike is available as a standard option on any section, any day — not as a fallback, as a tool. Daily sport massage and a present support vehicle are built into every stage for recovery at this level of exertion. The support vehicle is present throughout every stage.
Your base is Casa de Campo La Giralda — a 4.92-rated cyclist favorite at km 0 of Alto de Letras — with pools and open areas to unwind between stages.
The fitness guideline is calibrated for cyclists in their 50s and 60s who ride regularly — not benchmarked against a 35-year-old. If you have maintained a serious cycling habit through your 50s or beyond, this tour is built for you.
