Meet near Ocean’s Surf Shop on the right side of the street. Limited free parking is available along E. Erie Ave beside the building, with additional parking at the corner of Erie Ave and Center St. We’ll meet at the base of the stairs below Folly Fossils N Art.

What to expect

Meet in downtown Folly Beach and take a short walk to the pier while discussing your photography interests and experience level. Once at the beach, explore the coastline while photographing the pier, rolling waves, surfers in action, and seabirds in flight. Along the way, capture abstract and detailed images of sand patterns, shells, and natural textures while learning how to work with changing light and movement.

This guided photography walk is designed for a wide range of experience levels. Confident smartphone photographers are welcome, while DSLR and mirrorless cameras with various zoom lenses are encouraged for capturing action and wildlife. The experience wraps up with a relaxed photo review and practical editing suggestions to help refine your images after the walk.
