1Longyin Temple
Longyin Temple, located in Chukou, Fanlu Township, Chiayi County, Taiwan, is dedicated to Ji Gong (Chan Master Daoji), a revered Buddhist monk known for his compassion and miraculous deeds. Established in August 1980, the temple was built through the voluntary efforts of devoted believers. It serves as a popular stop for travelers en route to Alishan, offering a serene environment surrounded by mountains and rivers. Nearby, the Tianchang and Dijiu Suspension Bridges, collectively known as "Eternal Bridges," span the Bazhang River and are associated with local legends of eternal love. The temple gained additional fame as the filming location for the 1995 TV drama "Ji Gong," further solidifying its cultural significance.

Fenqihu marks the half-way-point on the way to the top of Alishan on the forest railway. This is a perfect stop-off point where tourists can relax, and take on refreshments and snacks. Culinary attractions include the famous "Alishan Railway Lunchbox," "Caoagui," and special "Train Cake."
