The Chinatown Cultural Center is located inside Wgt Veggie 五观堂素食. Please arrive a few minutes early and inform the receptionist you are here for a cultural workshop. You will be guided to the workshop room, where the instructor will be waiting. Please contact us if you can’t find the place.

What to expect
You’ll join a hands-on dumpling-making workshop where you’ll learn how to prepare and fold traditional Chinese dumplings from scratch. Your instructor will introduce the ingredients and demonstrate two classic dumpling-folding styles.
Step by step, you’ll practice shaping your own dumplings and learn techniques you can use with any filling in the future. After making your dumplings, they’ll be steamed on site, and you’ll have the chance to taste what you’ve created.
The session is beginner-friendly, designed for small groups, and held in a relaxed setting inside a vegetarian restaurant, a fun and interactive way to experience Chinese food culture beyond simply eating.
