The museum is located approximately 65 km from Krakow, and the journey takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes. Please note that, due to the museum’s organisational requirements, the exact pickup time may be subject to change. We will inform you of any changes in advance. During the journey, your driver will provide you with all the necessary information about the itinerary and answer any questions you may have. Before the visit begins, we will make a short break of approximately 15 minutes, allowing you to use the restroom and prepare for the tour.
At the museum, you will join a guided tour covering both parts of the former camp complex: Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. The museum guide will explain the history of the site and its significance during World War II.
After a short 15-minute break, you will continue with your driver to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the second part of the visit. This area allows visitors to better understand the enormous scale of the former camp complex and the events that took place there. The visit becomes more reflective as you explore the preserved remains, railway ramp, barracks and memorial sites.
After the guided tour, you will have some additional free time to use the restrooms, visit the museum bookstore, or take a short break at the café. If you wish, you can also ask your driver to show you additional interesting places in the Birkenau area and share more information about their history and significance. Once you are ready, your driver will take you back to Krakow and drop you off at your original pickup location or another location previously agreed upon with your driver.
