After an early breakfast, set off for Lake Nakuru National Park—an intimate yet remarkably diverse reserve renowned for its rich birdlife and protected rhino population. Arrive in time for a scenic morning game drive along the lake’s edge, where flamingos, pelicans, and buffalo gather in harmony. As you explore further, keep an eye out for Rothschild’s giraffes gracefully navigating the acacia woodlands, and if you’re lucky, a glimpse of the elusive leopard. Around midday, check into your lodge located within or close to the park and enjoy a hearty lunch followed by some well-earned rest. Later in the afternoon, venture out for a second game drive, this time increasing your chances of spotting both black and white rhinos grazing across the open plains. Full Day in the Majestic Mara

Guests may choose to carry a packed picnic lunch and spend the entire day exploring different sections of the park, including the famous Mara River, known for dramatic wildlife encounters and seasonal wildebeest crossings. Alternatively, you may return to the lodge for a freshly prepared hot lunch before heading out again for an afternoon game drive. Expect incredible sightings of the Big Five and abundant plains game throughout the day. Witness a live demonstration of traditional fire-making using sticks and learn about the Maasai’s rich heritage, from their beadwork and attire to their time-honored way of life. Your guide will ensure a smooth and scenic journey, with occasional stops to stretch, and refresh.
