3Czech Museum of Silver
We will see how Kutná Hora became one of the richest cities in medieval Europe thanks to silver mining. Together we’ll explore the history of the town and then head underground into the original mining tunnels, where you’ll see how silver was extracted centuries ago. Wearing a miner’s coat and helmet, you’ll walk through narrow shafts and experience what life was like for medieval miners. It’s an authentic and unforgettable step back in time.
