We meet at the Nomismatokopio metro station, right next to the McDonald's.
What to expect
Begin your hike through the trees and stop after about an hour at the Bats Cave. Take your time exploring this cave with its long corridor. Continue your hike for about 30 minutes towards a peak called Korakovouni B (Crow Mountain) at 692 meters. Enjoy the view of Athens from above; the usually busy and noisy city now quiet and beautiful.
After enjoying the view, descend for 20 minutes towards your last cave for this trip, the Lion Cave. Explore the big room of this cave, with its many beautiful formations, stalactites and stalagmites. After taking in the sights, begin your return hike, which lasts about 50 minutes, and then return with your guides to the metro station.
