Day 1
FIRST MEETING WITH THE MOUNTAIN

The first day marks the beginning of an unforgettable experience. We leave the meeting point early and head towards the rural area, where the real connection with the mountains begins. After a welcome talk and a review of the team, we begin our hike along paths surrounded by Andean landscapes, native vegetation and views that point to the grandeur of Nevado del Tolima. During the hike, the rhythm is relaxed and designed to allow us to enjoy the surroundings, take pictures and begin the process of acclimatization to altitude. Along the way, we share moments of connection with nature and learn about the moor ecosystem, its importance and its unique beauty. We finish the day in camp, where we rest, share a comforting meal and prepare for the challenges of the following days. A perfect day to acclimate, connect with the group and get engulfed by the magic of the mountains.

Day 2
BREATHE AND ADAPT

This day is dedicated to acclimatization, a key step in ensuring a safe and successful high altitude experience. After breakfast, we will take short and controlled walks around the camp, allowing our body to adapt slowly to the altitude. The day is at a leisurely pace, with time to rest, hydrate and fully enjoy the natural environment. We will explore the nearby landscapes, observe the typical flora of the moor and receive guidance from guides on breathing techniques, walking pace and personal safety in the mountains.

Day 3
WAY TO THE TOP

The third day is one of the most special and exciting of the expedition. In the afternoon, we rested and prepared for the final ascent, checking the equipment and receiving safety instructions from the guides. At 23:00 we begin the night walk to Nevado del Tolima. Under a starry sky and illuminated by our headlights, we move forward in silence and concentration, living a unique adventure at high altitude. The pace is constant and always accompanied by expert guides, prioritizing the safety and well-being of the group. As the hours pass, the effort mixes with excitement as we wait for the arrival of dawn, which marks the final stretch to the top. An unforgettable night that makes this day the heart of the expedition.

Day 4
RETURN WITH A FULL HEART

On the last day of the tour we will descend from the beach farm to the Cocora Valley, where the vehicles will take us back to the village and thus finish the expedition

• Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness
• People who do not have basic fitness for demanding hikes on high mountains.
