Meeting point

Guests will meet at Lebanon Square in Cairo. I will personally be waiting at the meeting point holding a sign with the lead traveler’s name and the tour name to ensure easy identification. My contact number will also be shared one day prior to departure for smooth communication.

    Saint Catherine

    We will meet at Lebanon Square in Cairo, where a comfortable minibus will take us directly to Saint Catherine. The journey takes approximately 6–7 hours. Upon arrival at the Saint Catherine city gates, we will pass through the security checkpoint. A private car will then transfer us to your Bedouin camp/guesthouse. After check-in, you’ll have time to rest, enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery, and have breakfast (not included). Later, we’ll explore the city of Saint Catherine — seeing local homes, schools, shops, and restaurants. Lunch will be available at a local restaurant (not included). Afterward, we return to the camp to relax and prepare for the evening and have dinner (included). At night, we’ll gather around a cozy campfire, enjoy tea with local Bedouins, and soak in the peaceful desert atmosphere.

    Saint Catherine

    Around 12:00 AM, we begin your journey to Mount Moses. The hike starts at approximately 12:30 AM with a local Bedouin guide and takes about 4–5 hours to reach the summit. At the top, we’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise from Egypt’s second-highest peak. We’ll rest, enjoy tea, and explore the small mosque, the Greek Orthodox chapel, and Moses’ cave. After descending, we’ll visit the historic St. Catherine’s Monastery, exploring its ancient art, peaceful courtyards, and sacred well. A private car will then take us on a short city tour to visit the Golden Calf site and the Shrine of Prophet Aaron. Finally, we return to the camp for breakfast and some relaxation before departing back to Cairo.
