Looking for the perfect family adventure during your cruise stop? This custom shore excursion is the ideal way to explore Roatan's natural beauty and local flavors. A welcoming local guide will meet you right at the cruise port and lead you on a relaxed yet exciting journey around the island.
Your adventure begins with a sightseeing tour through Coxen Hole, the island’s charming capital. Along the way you will enjoy scenic viewpoints and photo stops to capture the beauty of Roatan.
Next, visit the famous Mayak Chocolate Factory where you will discover the history of cacao and sample delicious locally made chocolate flavors. Then continue to the Rum & Cake Factory where you can taste traditional island rum and sweet Caribbean treats.
The tour finishes at the breathtaking West Bay Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Relax on the soft white sand, swim in crystal-clear waters, or snorkel along the vibrant reef located just off the shore.

How To Find Us - Royal Caribbean Cruise Line/ MSC Port (“Roatan Village Port”)
Once you exit your ship, walk straight past the shops and make a right. Continue through the terminal, then take a slight left toward the main street. As you exit Gate #1, look directly across the street for a representative holding a Roatan Diamond Adventuresign—we’ll be right there waiting for you.
How To Find Us – Mahogany Bay (Carnival Cruise Port)
Once you walk off the ship, head through the shopping area, pass the water fountains, and continue toward the red-roofed building on the right (the white taxi terminal). Walk through the corridor at the end, make a left, and continue up and over the hill through the big green gate. On the other side, walk down the hill and our representative will be waiting with a Roatan Diamond Adventure sign and a warm welcome.
If you prefer not to walk, or if anyone in your group uses a wheelchair or scooter, a taxi can bring you over the hill for $2.
Please note that independent drivers may try to offer tours—simply let them know you already have a reservation with us.
After your excursion, we will personally drive you back over the hill and inside the gate.
If you meet new friends on board who want to join, we’re always happy to accommodate if space allows.
