Venture out on a guided UTV ride up to the higher, cooler, elevations north of the lodge. Explore some beautiful overlooks of the valley from Mt Trumbull and Mt Logan. Hike to see some petroglyphs/pictographs at Nampaweap. Enjoy a sack lunch on the mountainside.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The ranch is located on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon 70 miles from the nearest town which is St. George, UT. It is approximately a 2-hour drive on a dirt road. Due to the remoteness of the area and the nature of the road, High Clearance vehicle is required.
What to expect
Check in by 1:00pm
Extended horseback ride (1-2 hrs) – Note: the max weight limit is 240 lbs. for the horse ride
Day 2:
Venture out on a guided UTV ride up to the higher, cooler, elevations north of the lodge. Explore some beautiful overlooks of the valley from Mt Trumbull and Mt Logan. Hike to see some petroglyphs/pictographs at Nampaweap. Enjoy a sack lunch on the mountainside.
Return to the lodge in the afternoon to relax inside your room or wagon, under a tree, and/or enjoy free time activities (horseshoes, roping, ping pong, pickleball, basketball, tetherball, cornhole, etc.)
In the late afternoon enjoy a guided ATV/UTV tour to Engagement Point (scenic overlook of the valley and Grand Canyon). If time permits also visit the historic Pa’s Pockets.
Day 3:
Enjoy the experience of either riding as a passenger or driving an ATV/UTV to the rim of the Grand Canyon where you can take in the breathtaking views of the colorful, magnificent canyon walls and the Colorado river running through the canyon.
Ranch Activities (short horseback ride, skeet shooting, ranch demo, etc.)
Evening entertainment
Day 4: Depart the ranch – checkout is around 9:30-10am
