    Your first stop is the traditional market village of Broughton-in-Furness. Browse independent shops, local bakeries and cafés while picking up lunch or snacks before heading deeper into the mountains. Unlike many busier Lakeland destinations, Broughton retains a peaceful, authentic Cumbrian atmosphere.
