Matatour Nairobi is not a traditional city tour.
It is a moving cultural experience inside a private nganya matatu, the most iconic symbol of Nairobi’s urban life.
Instead of simply stopping for photos, we tell the story of the city as it unfolds around you. Through guided narration, curated music, and carefully designed storytelling, Nairobi becomes a living stage.
You will understand the meaning behind monuments, the history behind street names, the evolution of matatu culture, and the stories of the heroes who shaped Kenya’s independence and modern identity.

Your boarding point. Look for the branded Matatour matatu in the parking area. Your guide will be waiting outside the main entrance.

KICC. Nairobi's most iconic skyline landmark. From here we explore the CBD, the Askari Memorial, and the story of Kenya's independence.

Step inside one of Kenya's oldest colonial buildings turned cultural space. Home to historical maps, paintings, and the nation's visual memory.

Drop-off at your original boarding point. Tour ends here. Your guide will be available for questions and a final debrief.
