Bali Purification, locally known as Melukat, is a sacred spiritual cleansing ritual for the mind, body, and soul using holy water. This traditional Balinese Hindu ceremony is performed at sacred places such as Tirta Empul Temple or other natural holy water sites in Bali.
The ritual is believed to help release negative energy, purify the spirit, and restore inner balance and peace. Popular purification locations include Tirta Empul Temple, Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple, and a special purification place at a local priest’s house for a more authentic spiritual experience.
