Explore the hidden military landscape of the Bay of Kotor on a journey through the Austro-Hungarian fortification system built in the 19th century to protect one of the Adriatic’s most strategic naval bases.

The tour begins at Fort Vrmac, located on the ridge between Kotor and Tivat, with sweeping views over the bay.

Continue to Fort Gorazda, one of the best preserved mountain fortresses, where corridors, gun positions and observation points reveal how the empire defended Boka Bay.

The route then follows the outer defensive line toward the Luštica Peninsula, visiting Fort Luštica and Fort Kabala, coastal fortifications guarding the maritime entrance of the bay.

The journey concludes with a visit to a boutique olive estate on Luštica, where guests discover local olive-growing traditions and enjoy a tasting of artisanal extra-virgin olive oils.
