Meeting and pickup
Meeting point: Hjalteyri wooden pier (near Hjalteyrarvegur 16) Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. The meeting point is at the wooden pier next to the parking area by the old Herring Factory in Hjalteyri. Our guide will be waiting by the boat at the pier.

Your tour begins in the small coastal village of Hjalteyri, located just outside Akureyri in the beautiful Eyjafjord. From here, you’ll board a comfortable boat and head out into one of Iceland’s best whale watching areas. The surrounding fjord offers calm waters and stunning mountain scenery, creating the perfect setting for spotting whales and enjoying the peaceful Icelandic coastline.
