If you select the hotel pickup option, please provide the name and address of your hotel in downtown Shanghai when booking. Please be ready in the hotel lobby at the agreed pickup time. Your driver will contact you via WhatsApp or SMS one day before your tour to confirm the pickup details.

If you select the option without hotel pickup, please make your own way to the Jade Buddha Temple Ticket gate and arrive on time for your selected tour time. Meet your guide there and wait for the tour to begin.

What to expect

All options include a 90-minute English-guided visit to Jade Buddha Temple and one selected hands-on workshop at M50 Creative Park:

• Bamboo Butterfly Weaving: 10:00–18:00 | 30–45 min
• Soup Dumpling Making: 10:00–19:00 | 60–90 min
• Chinese Seal Carving: 14:30–16:00 | 60 min
• Traditional Fan Painting: Mon, Tue, Fri, 14:00–20:00 | 30–45 min

The times above are workshop availability windows. Your workshop start time must be confirmed in advance.

An 8-language mobile web guide is included for independent exploration of M50. A staff-led M50 tour is not included.

Pickup options include one-way hotel pickup from downtown Shanghai to Jade Buddha Temple. Otherwise, please meet your guide at the temple. Travel from the temple to M50 independently. Temple-to-M50 transportation and return hotel transfers are not included.
