We hope that orders can be placed at least 24 hours ahead of the cut-off time, so that we can have more time to prepare and ensure a pleasant experience for you. We will pick you up and drive to Zhujiajiao Water Town (you can choose to get there by train if you like, but it will take longer to get there). Here, you can take a hand-rowed boat to enjoy scenic waterways, explore ancient architecture, and walk along the food street to look for local snacks. For lunch, you can have Chinese food like wontons and noodles. Lunch is generally ordered by us. However, if you'd like to order your own meal instead of the one we've arranged, you'll need to cover the cost yourself. Then, we will drive back to downtown Shanghai and visit landmarks like Yu Garden and the Bund. At the end of the tour, we will send you back to the same location as the pick-up location.

At around 9 am, we will pick you up at the designated location and drive you to Zhujiajiao Water Town. Generally, it takes one hour from downtown Shanghai to Zhujiajiao.

    Zhujiajiao Ancient Town

    We will head to Zhujiajiao Water Town by car or high-speed train (if you choose "Tour with High-speed Train" when booking). In Zhujiajiao, you can take a hand-rowed boat to admire picturesque waterways and explore ancient architecture on foot. For lunch, we will order local flavors like wontons or noodles. However, if you'd like to order your own meal instead of the one we've arranged, you'll need to cover the cost yourself. After lunch, you can walk along the food street to taste various snacks and buy exquisite souvenirs if you like. After the tour of Zhujiajiao, you can visit other attractions according to your interests, such as Shanghai Old Street, Yu Garden, and the Bund.

    Yuyuan Old Street

    Then, we will drive to Yuyuan Old Street. Strolling through Old Street, you can buy some local specialties and immerse yourself in an atmosphere different from the fast-paced city. Besides, you can visit the famous City God Temple, where you can participate in a traditional offering ceremony. During the ceremony, you can pay homage to the gods, praying for peace, health and prosperity.

    Yu Garden (Yuyuan)

    Next, we will visit Yu Garden, the foremost of Shanghai's five classical gardens. It features winding paths, elegant rockeries and koi swimming in ponds. Jade stones and dragon-shaped walls add to its tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It is optional for you to visit Huxin Pavilion, where you can enjoy tea and pastries, but you should cover the cost yourself. However, since Yu Garden is closed every Monday, please message us in advance if your tour falls on that day and we will adjust the itinerary for you.

    The Bund

    Finally, we will take you to the Bund. Known as the "Exposition of International Architecture", the Bund is lined with modern Western-style buildings of various designs. Here, you can stroll along the river bank and capture the iconic scene formed by the skyline and skyscrapers. At the end of the tour, we will drive you to the same location as the pick-up.
