We will pick you up from your hotel to begin your journey to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town (you can choose to get there by train if you like, but there is an extra fee). There, you can enjoy the scenic waterways on a hand-pulled boat, explore ancient buildings, and savor local snacks. For lunch, we will take you to a local restaurant famous for wontons and pan-fried buns. As a souvenir, tourists will receive a commemorative fan (a folding fan or a round fan). In the afternoon, feel free to visit Yu Garden or other destinations, experience Shaolin Kungfu, or try traditional handicrafts (please refer to pictures for available plans).

    Zhujiajiao Ancient Town

    We will pick you up from your hotel or arrange for you to take the high-speed train (the train is optional and meant for the experience; since the train doesn't go directly to Zhujiajiao, a taxi transfer is required, and as a result, the journey may be a bit longer). Then, you will head to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town for sightseeing. In Zhujiajiao, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the water town, explore the historical charm and cultural atmosphere of Jiangnan, and take a hand-pulled boat ride to admire the picturesque waterways. What's more, you can taste various local snacks, such as spicy tofu, zongzi (sticky rice dumplings), candied hawthorn, and assorted pastries. During lunchtime, we will take you to a local restaurant and enjoy specialties like wontons or pan-fried buns. At the end of the Zhujiajiao itinerary, you can take a fan as a souvenir: each male tourist will receive a folding one, while each female tourist will receive a round one.

    In the afternoon, you can visit other attractions according to your interests, such as Shanghai Film Park, Shanghai City God Temple, Yuyuan Garden, or Jade Buddha Temple (available options are listed below); or you can choose to experience Shaolin Kungfu, mahjong, or intangible cultural heritage handicrafts. At the end of the journey, we will take you back to the hotel so that you can relax after a busy day. In Shanghai Film Park, you can wander through Old Shanghai's authentically recreated streets, visiting classic film locations as if you had gone back to the past.

    Yu Garden (Yuyuan)

    You can appreciate the elegance of a Jiangnan garden, enjoy tea at Huxin Pavilion, and feel the charm of Old Shanghai. Please note that the garden is closed every Monday. So, if your itinerary is scheduled on Monday, we will take you to Yuyuan Old Street or Shanghai Temple of the Town God (Chenghung Miao).
