What to expect

You will meet your local guide at Shanghai Library Metro Station for a short pre-tour briefing. Our experience starts promptly at 4:00 PM, so please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Then, head to Wuzhong Market, an authentic local wet market, to immerse yourself in everyday Shanghai life. Take part in a fun ingredient shopping challenge, practice bargaining with local vendors, and pick up practical daily Chinese phrases along the way.
After the market exploration, join a hands-on Chinese cooking class led by a professional chef. Follow step-by-step instructions to cook your own authentic classic Chinese dish. Afterwards, sit back and enjoy your self-made meal, share wonderful moments with travel companions, and take home an exclusive recipe card as well as a souvenir experience certificate.
