Starting at 7:30 PM, join a local host for a three-hour journey through three distinctive bars, where ancient Chinese mysticism meets Shanghai’s creative nightlife. The first stop is a Taoist-inspired divination bar. Order a cocktail, receive a traditional yellow talisman, and write down a question about love, career, well-being, or the future. As the talisman is set alight in a symbolic ritual, watch your reading unfold. The drinks draw on the Taoist idea of yin-yang balance. Your host will stay with you throughout the experience, explain the cultural background and assist with translation. The next two bars reveal a younger, experimental side of Shanghai through inventive cocktails combining fresh fruit with unexpected Asian flavors. Tonight, every mood is welcome—joyful or quiet, certain or conflicted. Meet fellow travelers, find a little clarity, and leave with a lighter heart and a story unique to Shanghai.

Meeting and pickup
The meeting point is diagonally opposite Exit 5 of Changping Road Metro Station. The host will be waiting there with the event wristbands and will guide you into the bar.
