We pick you up at your hotel in the Reykjavik area. Please be ready in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Look for the Scenic Iceland Mercedes Sprinter minibus; the driver will be waiting with a sign showing the lead traveler's name. If you can't spot the minibus within 10 minutes of your scheduled time, please call the driver directly at +354 893 0049. Drop-off is at the same hotel.

    Kerid Crater

    Next, we visit the striking Kerio Crater, a turquoise lake nestled inside red volcanic rock. Located in the Grimsnes area, this lesser-known highlight is a true Scenic Iceland experience.

    Geysir

    No Golden Circle tour is complete without a visit to Geysir, the original geyser. In this geothermal valley, you’ll see Strokkur erupt every few minutes - sometimes over 30 meters high. This is one of Iceland’s most iconic photo stops.

    Pingvellir National Park

    Your final stop is Þingvellir, one of Iceland’s most treasured sites - both historically and geologically. It’s where the Althing, the world’s oldest parliament, was founded in the year 930. You’ll walk between two tectonic plates at the Almannagja Rift and see Iceland’s largest natural lake, pingvallavatn.

    The Geothermal Exhibition
