If your hotel is located outside the central area of Puno, transportation can be arranged at an additional cost. Alternatively, you may meet our team at the lighthouse near the main boat pier (Estación Muelle).

Begin your journey across Lake Titicaca with a comfortable transfer from your hotel in Puno to the main pier. From here, travel across the calm waters of the world’s highest navigable lake toward the famous Uros Floating Islands.

2Uros Floating Islands
Upon arrival, meet local families who continue to preserve one of the oldest living cultures of the Andes. Learn how the islands are entirely constructed from layers of totora reeds and discover how daily life continues on these remarkable floating communities. Your guide will explain the traditions, history, and lifestyle of the Uros people while you enjoy panoramic views of Lake Titicaca and the surrounding Andean landscapes.

3Taquile Island
Continue deeper into the lake toward Taquile Island, known for its breathtaking scenery and UNESCO-recognized textile traditions. After arriving on the island, enjoy a scenic uphill walk along stone pathways overlooking the deep blue waters of Lake Titicaca. Along the route, your guide will introduce you to the customs of the Taquileños, a community famous for preserving ancient Inca traditions, agriculture, and weaving techniques passed down through generations. At the main village, take time to appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and stunning mountain views before enjoying a freshly prepared local lunch made with regional ingredients. Following lunch, explore more of the island while learning about the social organization and cultural significance of Taquile’s world-renowned textiles, traditionally woven by the men of the community. After time to relax and take photographs, descend toward the port to begin the return journey to Puno.
