• Meet at the Grand Canyon Backcountry Information Center for orientation and gear check • Shuttle to Hermits Rest Trailhead • Descend the historic Hermit Trail through dramatic canyon scenery • Explore ancient rock layers, desert landscapes, and panoramic viewpoints • Arrive at camp at either Monument Creek or Hermit Creek
