We are native local guides. We were born, raised and still living in Kibera Slum.
We organize this tour tour to enable visitors to learn more about the local community's way of life and part of the income that we generate from the booking fees goes back to the community.

Let us meet at the GATE OF SHOFCO HOUSE OLYMPIC
The tour will end at the gate of Olympic Primary school
We will meet you at the gate of shofco house Olympic. Then give a short introduction and briefing. Thereafter, we will walk you to the first stop of the tour
From the meeting point, we will then welcome you to the office here in the slum for more introductions and briefings about the entire tour
From the office, we will continue walking to the second stop which is a panoramic viewpoint for a good view of the Kibera Community. At this point, we will narrate to you the history of Kibera Slum, how it started, land ownership and many more
The next stop will be one of the local residential houses. We will welcome you to one of the local residential houses to let you learn more about the community’s way of life like how water is gotten, toilet system, how electricity and water are accessed, the typical house size and many more
After visiting one of the local houses, we will then go to a Children's centre which is run by a non-profit organization and serves less fortunate kids
We will then visit a handicrafts Centre where local recycled materials are used to make handmade items like jewellery and many more
This will be the end of the tour
