Day 1
Puerto Maldonado – Lodge – Cocha Caimán

Puerto Maldonado (Pass by)
Reception and welcome at Puerto Maldonado airport, the Capital of Biodiversity of Peru. Then we will start our program, with a bus tour of the city. Afterward, we will head to the Port Captaincy where our boat will await us, on which we will sail down the Madre de Dios River (Serpentine River) until we reach our lodge located thirty kilometers from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Along the way, you can see rural properties intended for agricultural and livestock activities near the city. If the time is right, colorful plants such as heliconias with giant flowers and the possibility of observing animals such as rocs, caimans, aquatic turtles, herons, cormorants, carrion birds, and predatory birds will be visible.

Upon arriving at our lodge, you will be greeted with a delicious nectar of Amazonian tropical fruits and escorted to your comfortable room (bungalow) reserved for the occasion. Once a succulent lunch awaits you in our cozy rustic-design dining room.

In the afternoon, it will be led by our specialized guide through a conveniently marked interpretive trail to Cocha Caimán, a small lagoon where you will have the opportunity to observe the black caiman and white caiman, efficient predators located at the top of the food chain that feed on the abundant aquatic fauna of the lagoon represented by fish species. Upon returning to the lodge, a delicious dinner will await you, and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar, equipped with an excellent board game room and stocked with every drink you can imagine. The nocturnal fauna will lull him with the melody of an infinity of songs and voices of various birds. Return to the Lodge. Stay overnight at the Lodge.
Day 2
Lodge – Lost Cocha – Monkey Island

Puerto Maldonado (Pass by)
After breakfast we will start a hike in the jungle accompanied by our local guide. We will traverse the trails of the interpretive circuit, crossing temporary water courses and observing the diversity of flora and fauna of the Amazon forest. During the tour we will get to know different species of fruit, forest, and medicinal trees.
Puerto Maldonado (Pass by)
We will continue to the Lost Cocha, an important wetland in the Amazon. We will ascend to an observation platform from where we can appreciate the landscape and the different types of marshlands. Then we will take a tour around the cocha, with the possibility of observing wildlife. Animal sightings depend on natural conditions and are not guaranteed.
Puerto Maldonado (Pass by)
In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island, located on the Madre de Dios river. We will tour this environment of abundant vegetation, where there is the possibility of observing different species of primates, small mammals, and birds. We will finish the visit enjoying the sunset before returning to the lodge.
Day 3
Lodge - Puerto Maldonado - Airport

After breakfast, we will prepare to conclude our experience in the Amazon. At the corresponding time, we will make the transfer from the lodge to Puerto Maldonado airport to continue the passengers' trip.
