After a safety briefing and kayaking instruction, begin a 15 km (9-mile) downstream paddle on the Santa Cruz River, the same waterway explored by Charles Darwin during his voyage through Patagonia. Along the way, admire striking geological formations, fossil remains, native birdlife, and the untouched scenery that inspired one of history's greatest naturalists.
