What to expect

We will meet at our meeting point, to start this culinary adventure in the bohemian district of Barranco. We will walk around this neighborhood, starting with the panoramic visit at the Mirador Sáenz Peña. We will continue the tour to taste an exquisite Peruvian coffee, and try two types of traditional empanadas. Then, we will visit a gastronomic store with 100% Peruvian products, made by small sustainable and environmentally responsible companies. In addition, we will taste the sweet favorites of many: chocolate. The next stop will be in the mini art gallery of the amazing Peruvian artist Jade Rivera. Afterwards, we will take a panoramic tour of the Bridge of Sighs, and of the descent of baths. The next visit will be to a local restaurant, where we can try the famous “Ceviche” and the “Causa Limeña”. We will have a refreshing “purple chicha”. Then we will try the famous “Salted Loin”, along with an Inca Kola soda. Afterwards, we will try a delicious “Pisco Sour” cocktail. Finally, we will visit a local ice cream shop to taste creamy artisan ice creams with Peruvian flavors.
