Our exciting journey begins picking you up directly from your hotel located in the city of Puno. We will head towards the impressive northern region of the city, where thrilling biking experiences and fascinating cultural discoveries await you.
Get ready to pedal for two hours in a captivating landscape until you reach the majestic Chullpas de Sillustani! These ancient funerary towers are Peru`s most valuable treasure from the pre-Inca era and were part of the Kolla civilization. Located on the shores of the mystical Lake Umayo, just 33 km from the city of Puno, these monumental structures will leave you breathless as it is the most important cemetery from the pre-Inca period.
On our way to the tombs of Sillustani, you will witness the spectacular native flora and fauna that adorn this picturesque region. You will delight in the beautiful landscapes surrounding you, creating an unforgettable visual experience with every pedal stroke.
But that`s not all, after exploring the archaeological complex of Sillustani on your bike, we will immerse ourselves in the everyday life of the charming local families who live nearby. You will discover how they keep ancestral traditions alive in their cuisine, preparing authentic delicacies that will allow you to taste the authenticity of Peru.
