Evening Sami snowshoe hike to the reindeers and northern lights

3 hours (approximately)
Offered in: Swedish and 1 more

Venture into the Arctic night and immerse yourself in Sami culture on this intimate evening experience. Strap on snowshoes and journey through a stunning winter landscape to a secluded reindeer enclosure. Meet a Sami reindeer herder, learn about reindeer husbandry, and enjoy the chance to feed these magnificent animals. Warm up around the fire in a traditional Sami lavvu with hot drinks and snacks while sharing stories. Capture the moments with professional photos and, if conditions allow, witness the enchanting Northern Lights.

- Evening snowshoe adventure through the Arctic landscape
- Meet and learn from a Sami reindeer herder
- Feed and observe reindeer in a remote enclosure
- Experience traditional Sami hospitality with snacks in a lavvu

During October and November, the use of snowshoes depends on snow conditions. If there is not enough snow on the ground, the experience will be operated as a regular hike instead of a snowshoe tour.
