Discover the scenic beauty of the Catskill Mountains on a guided half-day hike, perfect for adventurers of all levels. Over the course of 3-4 hours, traverse 2-5 miles as you learn about the area’s geology and history. With a maximum group size of 6, you’ll receive personalized attention while enjoying stunning views and capturing memories through candid photos taken by your guide. Enjoy light snacks, and feel free to tackle optional challenges that await along the trails. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and enhance your hiking skills.

What to expect
After meeting at the rendezvous point before the hike, we’ll proceed to the trailhead and begin a quick introduction and gear check before taking to the trails. Along the way, we’ll stop to learn about the different rock formations, plant types, the history of the area and more. Throughout the trip, we’ll be getting tons of candid and action shots, as well as some epic posed shots at some of our favorite views in the Catskill Mountains.
Half day hikes typically lean between easy and moderate difficulty, with some optional ‘challenges’ along the way – if you’re up for it! Over the years we’ve really finessed how we tune our hikes to the different hikers we have every day – and will adjust the route and pace to the best fit for you and your group. With a maximum group size of 6 and an average of 3-4 per trip, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to work with you individually on your skills and techniques if needed!

- For every hike, you’ll need to have a sturdy pair of shoes with a good tread (boots are highly encouraged), water, any personal medications, a light jacket or raincoat, a signed liability waiver, and a readiness to adventure! Before your hike, we’ll reach out to discuss any additional items you might need.
- No prior experience is necessary for most of our hiking adventures
- Group hikes are tailored to an over-18 audience
- All dogs must be kept on leash, not be aggressive, and have current rabies vaccinations. If you are wanting to bring your pup along, just let us know beforehand so that we can do our best to bring the dogs along!
- Please wear Sturdy, closed toed shoes (boots are encouraged), Windbreaker or jacket, Hat, and Sunglasses
- Bring Any personal medications (inhaler, Epi-Pen, etc.), and Water
