Please wait in front of your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time. Your driver will arrive in front of the lobby and call your phone number directly upon arrival.
If staying in an apartment or private accommodation, please ensure your contact number is active so the driver can call you when arriving outside.
What to expect
Your day begins with a convenient roadside hotel pickup (up to 30m transfer, depending on location). Upon arrival at base camp, start with a 2.5-hour camel ride through countryside tracks and salt flat paths heading toward Sebkha Halk El Menzel (Flamingo Lake). Stop for 30 minutes at an exotic animal sanctuary to see ostriches, while enjoying fresh Tabouna bread with local olive oil. A carriage travels alongside for anyone needing a rest.
Next, gear up for a 1.5-hour off-road quad tour. Receive a safety briefing, fit your gear, and complete practice laps before following your guide along farm trails with photo stops.
Conclude with a return drop-off to your hotel gate (up to 30m).
