Established during World War II, Auschwitz concentration camp was a network of concentration and extermination camps constructed and operated by the Third Reich in Polish territories annexed by Nazi Germany. It was the largest of the Nazi concentration camps.
Access to the camp has become significantly more accessible in recent years. Numerous companies have emerged, specializing in organizing trips to Auschwitz and its surrounding areas.

What to expect
**Pick-up:**
- English-speaking driver will meet you at your hotel, apartment, or other accommodation.
- Pick-up will be between 5:00 AM to 5:30 AM at the designated location.
- Tickets will be purchased from the cashier at the Museum Auschwitz. - please take ID with you.
**Journey to Auschwitz:**
- The drive from Krakow to Auschwitz is approximately 65 kilometers and takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes.
**Museum Visit:**
- The driver will assist you in arranging tickets or, if you have already purchased tickets, will join you in the appropriate group.
- The sightseeing of Auschwitz I takes approximately 2 hours, while Birkenau takes approximately 1 hour.
**Transfer to Auschwitz II Birkenau:**
- After visiting the first part of the camp, the driver will take you to Auschwitz II Birkenau, which is located approximately 3 kilometers from Auschwitz I.
- Sighseeing in Auschwitz II Birkenau takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
**Return to Kraków:**
- After sightseeing Auschwitz and Birkenau, the driver will take you back to your hotel or apartment in Kraków.
**Total Trip Duration:**
- The entire trip, including the journey, will take approximately 7 hours.
