Once in Manizales’ downtown your guide will take you to the most emblematic places, while he explains some of the history of this region and the country. You will stop in several spots such as Parque de los Fundadores, Plaza Bolivar, Bolivar Condor Statue and the cathedral-basilica of Manizales, among other places. Here, you will have time to have a look and to take pictures, as well as learning about the importance of this places to locals. The best way to make the most out of your visit in the cathedral-basilica of Manizales is by climbing its tower. Once at the top you will have the best views of the city and you will be able to have a short break there, while the guide explains more about the city’s present.
