Our traditional ATV tour from Urubamba to Maras, Moray, and the Salt Mines is an experience full of fun, culture, and stunning views.
Tour Start:
We will pick you up directly from your hotel in Urubamba to begin this exciting adventure. In a short time, we will arrive at our ATV base, where our official guide will give you a brief but complete training (10 minutes) to teach you how to safely and easily drive the ATV.
During the ride:
You’ll enjoy spectacular landscapes, views of giant mountains, glaciers, traditional villages, and Andean farmlands. We’ll make several stops so you can take photos and connect with the beauty of the Sacred Valley.

Moray: We will explore this impressive Inca agricultural laboratory, made up of circular terraces that were used to experiment with crops at different altitudes. Our guide will explain its fascinating history and purpose.

2Salinas de Maras
Maras and the Salt Mines (Salineras): We’ll visit the famous Maras salt mines, composed of over 3,000 white salt pools that are still harvested by local families. Due to regulations, ATVs are not allowed in this area, so we’ll switch to our private transport to comfortably reach and explore this incredible site.

3Salinas de Maras
On the way back, we’ll stop at an authentic local market where Andean women will demonstrate the natural dyeing process using flowers, bark, stones, and more—as well as traditional weaving techniques. We will then return you to your hotel in Urubamba to conclude the tour.
