  Itmad-ud-Daula

  Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb—often called the “Baby Taj”—is a beautiful Mughal mausoleum in Agra. It was built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg. The tomb is made of white marble and is known for its delicate inlay work (pietra dura) and intricate lattice screens. It is considered a precursor to the famous Taj Mahal, showing early use of marble instead of red sandstone in Mughal architecture.

  Mehtab Bagh

  Mehtab Bagh is a historic Mughal garden located on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River from the Taj Mahal. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan, it is designed as a charbagh (four-part garden) and offers one of the best views of the Taj Mahal, especially at sunset. The garden was intended as part of a symmetrical layout aligned with the Taj, enhancing its beauty and reflection across the river.

  Next Visit Agra Fort is a massive red sandstone fortress built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. The fort contains beautiful palaces, halls, and mosques, reflecting a blend of Islamic and Hindu architectural styles, and offers views of the Taj Mahal from its premises.

  If you give permit or back to Delhi After Sightseeing enjoy the shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took personal interest and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are: leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work
