This conservancy is home to the Big Five and offers incredible wildlife sightings, including the last 2 remaining Northern white rhinos. Ol Pejeta is also a sanctuary for over 165 critically endangered black rhinos. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Wake up early for a morning game drive in this beautiful conservancy between 0630-0900hrs. Return to the camp for breakfast, check out and leave Ol Pejeta Conservancy for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at lake Nakuru sopa lodge. Relax after lunch and later proceed for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Have breakfast at your lodge then bid Nakuru goodbye as you drive to Masai Mara. You will be welcomed with a scrumptious lunch at the lodge upon arrival. Rest a bit then head into the park for an afternoon game drive. It is one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeests, zebras and attendant predators. Drive back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
This is a full day of game viewing with packed lunch served picnic-style inside the park. The classic Mara landscape is golden Savannah: flat grasslands with plentiful grazing and the perfect terrain for cheetahs to chase down an unlucky Thomson’s gazelle. From about July, two million wildebeest traverse the Mara River into the Masai Mara National Reserve to feast on fresh and succulent Savannah. Wind up your safari in the evening as you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you can have an optional visit to the Masai village. Here you will learn about the pristine culture of the Masai tribe. Afterwards drive back to Nairobi. You will be hosted for a complimentary lunch at the Carnivore restaurant before being dropped off at your city hotel/JKIA Airport depending on your flight timings.
