Chun Shui Tang is the birthplace of bubble milk tea and one of Taiwan’s most iconic tea houses, located in Taichung. The original store preserves a classic teahouse atmosphere, offering a blend of traditional Taiwanese tea culture and the famous handcrafted milk tea experience.
Miyahara Eye Clinic is a beautifully restored historic building in Taichung, once an ophthalmology clinic and now one of the city’s most iconic dessert and gift destinations. Its grand red-brick architecture and cathedral-like interior create a magical atmosphere, where visitors can enjoy rich ice cream, chocolates, and souvenirs in a space that blends history with modern elegance.
Rainbow Village is a small but vibrant village in Taichung, transformed into a living artwork by the famous “Rainbow Grandpa” Huang Yung-Fu. Every wall is covered in playful, hand-painted characters and colorful murals, creating a whimsical and joyful space that has become one of Taiwan’s most beloved photo spots. ※Closed for maintenance on every Monday.
Gaomei Wetlands is one of Taichung’s most breathtaking coastal landscapes, famous for its endless mudflats, wooden boardwalk, and stunning sunset views. As the sun sets, the sky reflects over the shallow waters, creating a mirror-like scene often dotted with silhouettes of wind turbines and migratory birds.
