This 4 days Uganda gorilla trekking safari takes you to Bwindi Gorilla forest well known for Gorilla trekking in Uganda. Drive through the winding rural areas into the home of endangered wild mountain gorillas. Your safari begins from Kampala urban settings in to the village setting of Bwindi impenetrable, this tropical rainforest is a habitat to variety of primate species. From this forest you will track Gorillas while from the other trails you can go for bird watching, nature walk characterized by a number of birds including Blue Turaco, Black casques hornbills, Black and White Hornbills, Woodland Kingfishers, Flycatchers. Time permitting take on a community visit is also much amazing to explore the lifestyle of the indigenous people.
On Arrival At Entebbe Airport, You Will Find Our Representative at Entebbe Airport With Plaque Card With Your Names
Today you will arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by our GoExplore representative who will then transfer you to your accommodation overnight in Kampala
After breakfast, you will start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Kisoro Airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your guide and drive to Bwindi. In the afternoon, you may choose to relax at the lodge or visit the Batwa community which will expose you to their culture based on how they live, dance, and also hear stories concerning their culture which will leave you amazed

After breakfast with your packed lunch, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the do’s and don’ts during your gorilla trekking. Your gorilla trekking experience will start immediately after the briefing. This is a memorable and amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play around, and also do their day-to-day activities. This activity can take 2 hours or even up to 8 hours since it is dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas. Also, expect to walk long distances in muddy and steep conditions- this will require you to have a walking stick. On meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them as you take photos and observe their subtle social interactions, and remarkable behaviors closely resembling our own. Later, trek back to the park headquarters to pick up your certificates and return back to the lodge.
After breakfast, you will be transferred from the Lodge in Bwindi for your journey heading to Entebbe for your flight back home
