    Your excellent tour guide will pick you up from your centrally located hotel (or airport, port, Disland according to option) at your chosen time. Discuss the planned itinerary with your guide. If there’s anything else you are interested in and it’s not a part of your itinerary, we will try to modify the tour as you wish. The tour is 100% flexible, designed to suite your interests. This itinerary normally contains: Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden, Old Town market, City God Temple, lunch break & Confucian Temple etc.

    Jade Buddha Temple

    Then visit Jade Buddha Temple, where you will: Experience Buddhist culture via “Scripture copying”. Buddhist Scriptures copying is a time-honored tradition for Chinese Buddhist believers; and, is an important Chinese calligraphy practice. By focusing on Scripture copying, you will likely feel a calming effect on your mood, find inner spiritual tranquility, enhancing the wisdom of life. (Note…in the event that there are other activities arranged by the Temple, which happens occasionally, Scripture copying cannot be fully guaranteed.). Not mention your experienced guide will introduce you the priceless treasures of Jade Buddha statues with the long history of Buddhism. As it is active temple you can feel the spirit of monks and their way of living. Entrance tickets included.

    Yu Garden (Yuyuan)

    Then, Yu Garden, a 400 years old classical garden, originally built by the wealthy Pan family, with rockeries, ponds, pavilions, towers, plants, the garden mixes Chinese cultures, lifestyles, philosophies, believes and traditions with landscape aesthetics. (Note: Yu Garden closed at every Monday.) Entrance tickets included.

    City God Temple. This is a Taoist Temple. As a Chinese local religion, Taoism is famous for the theory of Tin & Yang, Fengshui, Tai-chi, and Chinese traditional 12 zodiac calculation. Here you can try to find the zodiac gods specific to you and your families/friends. Entrance tickets included.

    After food break, Confucian Temple. your guide will tell you Confucius' story. We will visit of Confucian Temple, experience a traditional tea tasting process while learning about Confucian.
