Chukou Visitor Center is a convenient stop before entering the Alishan mountain area. Take a short break here, stretch your legs, and get ready for the scenic journey into Alishan.

2Yuyupas
Yuyupas Tsou Cultural Village offers visitors a chance to experience the traditions and daily life of the Tsou indigenous people. Surrounded by mountain scenery, the village showcases traditional architecture, cultural performances, and local crafts that reflect the rich heritage of the Tsou tribe. It’s a meaningful stop to learn about Taiwan’s indigenous culture while enjoying the peaceful highland atmosphere.

Fenqihu Old Street is a charming mountain town known for its nostalgic railway history and traditional local snacks. Stroll through the lanes lined with shops and diners, and take the opportunity to enjoy a classic Fenqihu railway lunchbox or other local delicacies. 4Alishan National Forest Recreation Area
Wander along the tranquil mountain trails of Alishan, from the panoramic ridgeline views of Eryanping Trail to the misty tea fields of Shizhuo Kasumi’s Road. If you visit in spring, you might even catch the delicate pink cherry blossoms! As you walk through drifting clouds and lush green plantations, you’ll experience the peaceful charm and breathtaking scenery of Alishan’s highlands.
