Discover the timeless charm of Hydra on a full-day island escape from Nafplio. Travel by comfortable air-conditioned coach through the scenic landscapes of the Argolis region before reaching Metohi, where you will board a ferry for a short crossing to the island. Upon arrival, join a guided walking tour of Hydra Town and explore its elegant captains’ mansions, narrow stone streets, and picturesque harbor. Learn about the island’s rich maritime heritage and its important role in the Greek War of Independence, while enjoying a tasting of the traditional almond sweets known as amygdalota. After the guided tour, enjoy ample free time to experience the island at your own pace.
