Embark on a refined full-day escape to Hydra, one of Greece’s most graceful and historically rich islands. Depart from Nafplio and travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach through scenic landscapes of rolling hills and sparkling coastline. Upon reaching the tranquil harbor of Metohi, board a ferry for a short and pleasant crossing to Hydra Island, enjoying sea views and the refreshing coastal breeze. Once on the island, join a guided walking tour through Hydra Town. Elegant captains’ mansions, narrow stone lanes, and fragrant courtyards create an atmosphere frozen in time. Learn about the island’s proud maritime heritage and its important role in the Greek War of Independence, while tasting the traditional almond sweets known as amygdalota.

After the tour, enjoy free time to swim in the deep blue waters of Spilia, relax with a drink by the sea, browse charming local shops, or wander through art-filled alleys. As the afternoon draws to a close, return by sea taxi to Metohi and relax on the scenic journey back to Nafplio.
