The Nobel Peace Centre is dedicated to the Nobel Peace Prize. The building overlooks the harbour and is close to Oslo City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony occurs every December 10th to commemorate Alfred Nobel's death.

7Karl Johans Gate
Karl Johans gate is the main street of Oslo. It was named in honour of the King of Norway, Karl III Johan, who was also the King of Sweden, Karl XIV Johan. In addition to Karl Johans gate, Palace Hill (Slottsbakken) and Palace Place (Slottsplassen) cover 300 metres. Walk along Karl Johan gate and learn all there is to know about the Norwegian Santa “Julenissen” and his relation to the Norwegian's pagan past.

Right in the heart of the Christmas market, Jul i Vinterland (Christmas in Wonderland), which we'll introduce you to, lies the Spikersuppa ice-skating rink. If you haven't tried ice skating, you'll have your chance once the tour finishes!
