On the first day, boarding begins at 10:00 a.m. We recommend arriving in Iquitos a day early or taking flights that land before 9:00 a.m., as the transfer from the airport to the port takes approximately 40 minutes.
On the last day, the tour ends around 5:00 p.m. in the city and we arrive at the airport around 6:00 p.m. Please choose flights departing after 7:30 p.m. If your flight departs earlier, a fee of S/ 280 per private boat will apply.

Pick up and leave for the Amazon rainforest The day begins with the pick-up of passengers arriving on flights before 9:00 a.m. at Iquitos airport. For those who are already in the city, hotel pickup is only within the tourist area between 9:40 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. If the passenger is staying outside this area, you must coordinate the exact meeting point by internal at the time of booking. This process ensures that all travelers board in time at the port to start the journey to the jungle. Our team provides assistance with luggage, directions and pre-boarding recommendations. It is the perfect start to enter the Amazon in comfort and organization, ensuring that all travelers begin their experience smoothly and knowledgeable.
Navigation along the Nanay and Amazon rivers. We will begin the adventure by sailing along the Nanay River until connecting with the majestic Amazon River. During this journey you can enjoy riparian landscapes, observe local communities, birds and vegetation typical of the area. We will make a special stop to look for pink and gray dolphins, one of the most exciting experiences of the day. The sailing lasts approximately 2.5 hours and allows you to appreciate how the color of the water changes, the breadth of the river and the daily life of the families living on its banks. The guide will explain data about fauna, culture and geography. It is a quiet tour, perfect for panoramic photos and to start feeling the vastness of the jungle.
Arrival at the Amazonian lodge and lunch. Upon arrival at the lodge, guests will be greeted with a brief explanation of the operation of the accommodation, times and services. Then enjoy lunch prepared with local inputs, including local fish, vegetables, rice and soft drinks. The atmosphere is quiet, surrounded by jungle and with enough time to rest before afternoon activities. The guide will be available to answer questions and prepare the group for the jungle hike.
Jungle hike and medicinal plants. We will take a guided walk along nature trails around the lodge to learn about various medicinal plants and emblematic trees of the Amazon. The guide will explain traditional uses, healing properties and the cultural value of these species to local communities. During the walk you will also see insects, fungi and ecosystem details that go unnoticed by the naked eye. It is an educational experience, relaxed and with many opportunities to learn about the relationship between Amazonian communities and their natural environment.
Sloths and Amazonian birds watching. During the hike or from areas near the lodge, the guide will take you to strategic points where you usually see sloths lounging on top of trees and birds such as toucans, parrots or local species in full activity. Their habits, eating, displacement and curiosities about their behavior will be explained. It is an ideal activity for lovers of wildlife and photography, which allows to observe emblematic animals of the jungle in their natural habitat.
Amazonian sunset. At the end of the afternoon, we will enjoy an Amazonian sunset from the lodge or a nearby natural viewpoint. The warm colors of the sky, the sounds of the jungle changing and the calm of the surroundings create one of the most unforgettable moments of the day. It is ideal for contemplating, resting and taking spectacular pictures. The guide will explain some behaviors of animals that appear in this hour, preparing the group for the night walk.
Night walk and tarantula search. When night falls, the jungle comes alive in a totally different way. On this night walk the guide will explain how they identify animals by sounds and reflections. We'll look for tarantulas, insects and other species that only appear in the dark. The hike is safe, quiet and fascinating for those who want to know the jungle from another perspective. It is a perfect experience to close the day with a mixture of adventure and learning.
Sunrise in the Amazon rainforest. We will start very early to observe a unique sunrise over the river and jungle. Golden light passing through the morning haze creates a completely surreal landscape. As the day awakens, birds and animals begin their activities, filling the environment with natural sounds. The guide will explain the behavior of several species during the early hours of the day and how this moment sets the pace of life in the Amazon. It is a quiet, introspective and perfect experience for memorable photos, providing a magical start to the day.
Amazon Bird Watching : After dawn we will take a light hike or short boat tour to observe iconic Amazon birds such as herons, eagles, parrots and other species in the area. Dolphin Search and Amazon Sunset : In the afternoon we will sail along the Amazon River in search of pink and gray dolphins. The guide will explain their habits, areas where they usually appear and more curious behaviors. As we go, the sun begins to fall and the sky is painted in golden and pink tones that are reflected in the river. It is one of the most beautiful moments of the tour: quiet, photogenic and deeply Amazonian.
Amazonian mud bath and swimming (summer only): In the summer season, with the lowest river level, you can enjoy the traditional Amazon mud bath, known for its minerals and skin benefits. Then you can swim in safe areas while enjoying the natural landscape. It’s a fun, refreshing and completely different activity from any conventional spa experience.
Night experience: sounds of the jungle: When night falls, the jungle transforms. In this activity we will go out to hear night sounds like insects, birds, frogs and other animals that only appear in the dark. The guide will explain the nocturnal activity of the ecosystem and how to identify species by their sound or movement. It is a mysterious, relaxing and perfect experience to feel the Amazon from another perspective.
Amazonian sunrise: We will start the day observing a new Amazonian sunrise, this time from an area near the lodge where morning sounds combine with the mist that rises among the trees. The golden light of dawn creates a magical atmosphere that allows a quiet connection with nature. The guide will explain how certain species begin their daily activity at this time, showing the transition between night and day movement. It is a perfect time to reflect, take pictures and enjoy the environment in its purest form.
Amazonian breakfast: After dawn, travelers will enjoy a breakfast served with fresh local inputs. Includes seasonal fruits, breads, natural drinks, coffee or milk and hot options depending on the day. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are offered with prior notice at the time of booking. This breakfast provides the energy needed for the last day, in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by nature.
Monkey and sloth sighting : We will take a tour to observe monkeys and sloths in their natural environment. The guide will show how to identify them among the foliage, explain their behavior, diet and curiosities about their daily habits. You will see different species of monkeys in motion, and if we are lucky, sloths resting between the branches. Lunch at the lodge: Before starting the return, an Amazonian lunch will be served prepared with products of the day: local fish, rice, salads and side dishes. The atmosphere is quiet and perfect for relaxing, chatting and preparing for the return journey. During this time, the guide will provide final directions, recommendations and assist with any needs before leaving for Iquitos.
Return through the Amazon to Iquitos : At 2:30 p.m. we will start sailing back along the Yanayacu River and then the Amazon towards the city. This section allows you to enjoy again riverside landscapes, local communities, birds and vegetation. The guide will continue to accompany the group, answer questions and share additional information about the area. It is a serene and panoramic return that offers a last chance to contemplate the grandeur of the Amazon and say goodbye to the natural environment.
Return to Iquitos, arrival at the port and optional transfer to the airport: Around 5:00 p.m. we will arrive at the port of embarkation in the city of Iquitos, where navigation along the Amazon River ends and general assistance is provided to travelers. From this point, those who require it can continue with an optional transfer to the airport, a service designed especially for passengers who have flights on the same day. The guide will assist with coordination, baggage and departure times. The journey from the port to the airport takes approximately 40–45 minutes, arriving around 6:00 p.m. It is recommended that you choose flights departing after 7:30 p.m. to ensure a smooth and comfortable boarding. This combined activity offers a smooth and organized closure of the tour, ensuring that each traveler arrives at their next destination safely and on time.
