It was built in Ming Dynasty with over 450 years history. It is an extensive Chinese garden with charming fish pond, Taihu rock hills, pavilions, bonsai and traditional architecture.

5Jade Buddha Temple
Then, visit Jade Buddha Temple, the most popular temple in Shanghai with over 140 years old history from Qing Dynasty. Here you will see 2 Jade Buddhas. One Reclining Buddha with 8 ft long and one Sitting Buddha upright with over 6 ft total. With its bright crystal color, You will be filled with the blessings of harmony, generosity and kindness. From time to time, the Temple has benches and desks set up and you are allowed to practice writing prayers in Chinese using ink and Pen. An interesting activity for kids.
