Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! A local team of true foodies - our small group activities (max 6-7 participants) focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine...
There's nothing like tasting fresh, warm hallloumi cheese straight out of the pot and on this small group excursion there'll be plenty to enjoy throughout the day! During this unique activity you'll have the opportunity to make 2 kinds of Cypriot cheeses alongside a local family. The workshop ends with a tasting of the cheeses plus a delicious brunch!
We'll also include 3 bonus stops to further explore the mountain countryside... A beautiful monastery where you'll have time to roam the grounds & enjoy this scenic location. Plus 2 foodie stops guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds! (e.g. carob honey / traditional sweets / local jams / olive oil / wine / etc.)

Meeting and pickup
We offer door-to-door transport from almost any Paphos location including hotels, airbnbs, private accommodation, landmarks etc. We can also offer pick-up or drop-off at Paphos airport if this makes your participation more convenient. If you do not see your pickup location on the list at the time of booking - please go ahead with your booking and in the unlikely case that we cannot fulfil the pick-up - a full refund will be processed. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CRUISE SHIP PASSENGER BOOKINGS THROUGH VIATOR / TRIPADVISOR - PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY. This tour runs on specific dates - if the available dates aren't suitable and you would like to take part in a food / wine experience on another day then please check Cyprus Taste Tours for our other options as we have activities running on every day of the week. PLEASE NOTE: We offer bespoke journeys into the Troodos mountain range and therefore the itineraries stated are subject to change with the season and the locals available to host us. The timings are a guideline and if you must be back at your accommodation at a certain time - YOU MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE. PLEASE NOTE: The Troodos mountain range spans Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia and it is in the mountainous areas of these districts that you find the rural villages of Cyprus. This tour DOES NOT visit Troodos Square and will only visit various villages within the Troodos mountain region.

We'll pick you up from a Paphos location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. 1Troodos Mountains
You'll be picked up from a Paphos location of your choice and driven into the Paphos region of the Troodos mountain range to reach the destination of our host. This will be a beautiful scenic drive through villages and vineyards. We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life – we cannot guarantee which stops we’ll be visiting after the cheese-making workshop... However, here’s an example list of products - honey / traditional sweets / wine / donkey milk products / carob honey / chocolates.

You'll be taken to the house of a local village lady to learn the traditional technique of halloumi and anari cheese making. This hands-on workshop ends with a delicious tasting that will include the cheeses made.
