This 2 hour sunrise ATV tour takes you into the Icelandic wilderness just outside Reykjavík.
You’ll start with a pickup from the city centre and head to the ATV operator’s basecamp, where you’ll have access to professional gear and complimentary coffee.
After a short safety briefing, you’ll set off on your ATV through lava trails, river crossing and mountain roads. As the sun rises, enjoy the changing views across the landscape including Esja Mountain, Reykjavik City, Faxaflói Bay and the Blue Mountains visible from the higher points along the route.
A great way to start the day, combining an early morning ride with some of the best views just outside Reykjavík.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pick-up starts 30 minutes before the departure time. Be ready at 09:00 AM. The pick-up process can take up to 30 minutes. Please note that pick-ups from hotels in main-central Reykjavik are not allowed in certain areas designated as no pick-up zones by the City . As a result, you need to walk to the nearest bus stop, typically a 2-5 minute walk from your hotel. To choose the appropriate bus stop: Search bus stops in Reykjavik Search the closest to your hotel & select the one nearest. If you don't know your pickup location please send us a message and we can help you.
You can type our address or search 'Safari Quads' in Google Maps. Please arrive at our basecamp at least 15 minutes before the tour departure time for the safety briefing and gearing up!
