This 1,5-hour small group tour takes you to the area where Anne Frank spent her childhood from when she moved to Amsterdam until she went into hiding. It covers key points in her life: what happened to her family and why they left Germany, how they came to live in Holland and how the Nazis discovered them. You'll find out about more about Anne Frank's life before she went in hiding.
Anne Frank was a young girl who kept a diary while she and her family hid from the Nazi occupiers of Amsterdam. The journal was distributed posthumously, but it is now known to be one of the most read books ever written – with more than 30 million copies sold. This tour will take you beyond what most people know about Anne Frank, into the life she led before her time in hiding, and discuss how she has been used as an icon over the years.

Oase Ice cream salon ( Anne Frank and friends used to visit this Ice salon many times) the Ice cream salon does not exist anymore. In the building you will find a Japanese/ Peruvian restaurant. At the wall the owner has painted a huge portret of Anne. In the years the Anne lived in this quarter, this used the be an Ice cream salon where she and her friends came for ice cream.
