Shop like a local on this private, 3.5-hour shopping tour in Athens. Escape the main tourist crowds and head off in search of tucked-away, independent stores with a knowledgeable guide. Sift through handmade bags, designer jewelry, colorful clothes and more as you learn about Greek culture and the city’s shopping scene. Meet the designers (subject to their availability), test out natural cosmetics and discover the lost art of loom weaving. You’ll visit 10 locally owned stores and have between 10 and 15 minutes in each to peruse and purchase your favorite wares.

What's Included

If your hotel is in central Athens and within 10–15 minutes of the tour’s starting point, your guide will meet you directly at your hotel. Otherwise, you will meet your guide at the location arranged with your travel designer.

Your meeting point is 2 Patriarchou Ioakim Street, on Kolonaki Square (Platia Filikis Eterias). Look for the APOLLONIO (“ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝΙΟ”) bakery. Your guide will be waiting right outside, holding an “ALTERNATIVE ATHENS” sign.
